The conference will be held at Windsor Barra Hotel, located in the south part of Rio, in a quiet area, in front of the privileged Barra da Tijuca Beach. The hotel is located just a few minutes from shopping malls, restaurants, theme parks and ecological reserves. Less expensive accommodation will be available in the neighborhood.

Rio de Janeiro is a beautiful historic city visited by many tourists in June due to the very mild climate. There is a large number and variety of hotels that are often fully booked. Participants of NANO 2008 are recommended to reserve accomodation through the NANO 2008 official travel agency, Gb International. This service is free of charge and allows a choice of several hotels in various price classes (see below). Gb International has booked blocks of rooms at reduced prices for participants of NANO 2008, as well as for accompanying partners and family members. It is highly recommended that you book your rooms before May 2008, since a limited amount of rooms is available at these special rates.
