Angra dos Reis can be reached by car or bus from Rio de Janeiro (about 2 hours) and São Paulo (about 6 hours). There will be three buses leaving from Centro Brasileiro de Pesquisas Físicas in Rio de Janeiro, on November 18th, at:

  • 13h30min
  • 15h30min
  • 17h30min

    • and passing by the international airport in Antonio Carlos Jobim (ex-Galeao), Rio de Janeiro, AROUND ( IT MIGHT TAKE A BIT LONGER)
  • 14hs
  • 16hs
  • 18hs

    • The participants must send an email to

    • making a reservation for the bus you expect to take. Please, include in this email the number of your flight and arrival time.

    In case your arrival in Rio is programed to November 18th after 18hs, please send an email to:

    • Due to the small number of participants coming from São Paulo, we will not provide buses for them.
    The returned buses will run from 4pm to 6pm on friday.

    We would like to inform the participants arriving at Rio airport on November 18th that there will be (from 10:00 a.m. up to the departure of the third bus) properly identified members of the conference waiting at the international arrival sectors (at both terminals 1 and 2) that will guide the participants to the buses leaving to Hotel do Frade.
    We kindly ask those participants arriving from domestic flights to go to the closest international sector in order to meet the identified members of the conference.
