Welcome Reception

All participants of SCES 2008 are invited for the reception on Sunday evening, 7 pm, at swimming pool area of the conference hotel, Atlântico Búzios.

 

Conference Dinner

The conference dinner will be organized on Tuesday, 19 August, 8 pm, at Patio Havana, located at Rua das Pedras with a breathtaking sea view and live music. Participants should purchase their tickets at Hospitality Desk. Please register in time, preferably on Sunday evening since the number of seats is limited.

 

Excursion

There will be no session on Wednesday afternoon. The GB Internacional Agency will be offering a choice of two different tours of 2 ½ hours around Búzios, both of them leaving the Hotel at 2pm. There are limited places available, so you should register as soon as possible at the Hospitality Desk. The same tours will be offered again on Friday afternoon. Other tours can be organized for small groups. The possibility to use a Taxiboat to visit some nice beaches around may be explored.
