Registration & Abstracts

On-line registration is mandatory for all conference participants. To proceed with your registration in SCES2008, please go to the  registration web page or click in the icon below, to create a login name and password. This will allow you to register accompanying persons, submit the abstract and process the fee payment.

 

 

          Attention:

 

Please, download the sample abstract to help preparing your abstract correctly. Only one abstract per registrant can be submitted. You must insert all the authors in the correct field, in order to appear in the Author Index of the Book of Abstracts.

REGISTRATION FEES

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Deadline for early registration is July 20^th, 2008.

Deadline for late registration is August 10^th, 2008.

 

 

On-site registration fee: ONLY CASH

 

 

The registration fee will cover attendance to all technical sessions, exhibitions, poster session, welcome reception and coffee breaks as well as the book of abstracts. The registration fee does not include the Conference Dinner and the hard copy of the Proceedings.

 

CANCELLATIONS

 

Pre-paid registration fee is not completely refundable (60.00 € processing fee). Notification of cancellation must be received by email or Fax by SCES'08 until July 15th 2008. Cancellations after July 15th, 2008 will result in forfeiture of the registration fee; however, a substitute registrant will be accepted. FINANCIAL SUPPORT

 

Funds are being allocated to provide financial support to a limited number of participants that can demonstrate to be unable to attend the conference without such assistance. Priority will be given to students, to young scientists and to scientists from institutions and countries with limited resources.

 

Request for financial support will only be considered if you fill in the correct form for SUPPORT in the registration webpage.
