Yodh Prize 2013

The Yodh Prize was established in 1998 to recognize a scientist whose research career has made substantial contributions to understanding in the field of Cosmic Rays. The research should have had a major impact in the field. There is no age restriction. The Prize was endowed by Gaurang and Kanwal Yodh to the University of California Irvine Foundation. The awardee will be selected by an international committee of distinguished scientists in the field of Cosmic Rays and Astroparticle Physics. The winner will be invited to visit the University of California, Irvine, to present a colloquium to the faculty and students in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at some time during the following year. The award consists of a prize of US$ 2000 and will be presented at the 33nd ICRC at Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in July 2013.

Nominations supporting the case, including the nominee's curriculum vitae and publication list of the important publications, should be submitted to the Secretary of the Yodh Prize Committee. The sponsor may also wish to ask two co-sponsors to send letters supporting the nomination. Nominations should be sent to the following address:
