The First I2CAM/FAPERJ Spring School on Emergent Matter, titled New Phenomena in Highly Correlated Quantum Matter, to be held in Rio de Janeiro 11^th-17^th March, 2007. The conference is co-funded by ICAM and by FAPERJ and will be hosted by the CBPF, Brazilian Center for Research in Physics, in Rio de Janeiro.

 

The school will run for a six days, from the 11th - 17th March.

 

 

There will be approximately three lectures per day, in the ICAM format of 60 min talks + 30 min discussion that has already been pioneered in the Cargese summer schools.
