The International Center of Relativistic Astrophysics  ICRA   and the Brazilian Center for Research in Physics CBPF celebrated an agree to give the Status of a Branch of the ICRA Network in Brasil to the Laboratory of Cosmology and High Energy Physics LAFEX /CBPF, home of the Cosmology and Gravitation Group.
 
 

ICRA and CBPF agree to promote collaborations through the following procedures:

    1.Effectively exchange scientific informations among all the branches of the ICRA Network about the ongoin programs, to foster the development of new programs genuinely
      international in their structure and co-ordinate research of the different groups participating in the ICRA Network;

    2.Mutually support exchange of senior and junior scientists among the branches of ICRA Network in order to promote common scientific work as well as the participation in
      international conferences, symposia and workshops;

    3.Mutual support and common preparation of joint programs of research to be presented to financing Agencies both nationally and internationally;

    4.Develop efficient electronic network infrastructure in order to acquire and exchange all data from ground based observatories and experimental facilities and space borne missions
      including access to international and national data banks.

CBPF also agree to promote and help the development of research in Relativistic Astrophysics in the South American Countries and to nominate its representative in the Scientific
Committee of the ICRA Network. The co-ordination of the ICRA Network will be done by the Centre in Pescara
