We are generalising definitions of gravitational
energy in asymptotically flat spacetimes to spaces with more general asymptotic
structures. N.Pinto Neto, I.D.Soares and R.Rodrigues da Silva extended
succesfully these definitions to asymptotically
anti-de Sitter spacetimes. N. Pinto Neto and P.I. Trajtenberg are now
trying to generalise such results to compact objects that behave like Friedmann-Lemaitre-Robertson-Walker
spacetimes asymptotically.
